TERMS AND CONDITIONS - OPEN STUDIO ART SCHOOL CLASSES 

1. Students must not be dropped off more than 5 minutes before class.
2. Parents/guardians must collect students promptly at the end of the class.
3. Students are expected to attend the class out of their own interest and willingness to participate.
4. Students must be able to work independently and participate in structured activities when offered.
5. Children's classes are for students aged 9 and above .
6. Parents/guardians/family are not permitted to stay during class. Only enrolled students and staff may be present while classes are running.
7. Most materials are supplied in the class. Students should bring their own visual diary or folder to contain their drawings. Unless offered as part of a workshop, specialist materials such as Sculpey, clay, stretched canvas, airbrushing paints/equipment must be provided by the student should they wish to use them .
8. Tablets, printed images or objects may be used as references.
9. All students are to use a reference when in the classes. References may be modified for  individual creativity.
10. The school does not provide internet access for students on their own devices. The internet can be accessed on school tablets only. Students wanting to use their own devices should save images to their devices prior to attending the class.
11. Students are responsible for their own devices, phones and personal belongings. The school accepts no liability for lost, damaged or misplaced items.
12. Students must behave respectfully toward staff, classmates and property at all times.
13. Bullying, disruptive behavior or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
14. Student are not to photograph other students or their work without permission. Students are not to draw on other students work.
15. Damage to school property caused by a student may result in parents/ guardians being held responsible . 
16. All term fees must be paid in full before the term begins- a student is only considered enrolled once payment has been made.
17. Payments are to be made by bank transfer only- we do not accept cash payments.
18. If a new student does not wish to continue after the first class, a refund can be requested for the remainder of the term minus the cost of the single class. No refunds are offered after the first week of term.
19. Classes must be used within the term of enrollment. Unused or missed classes do not carry over to the following term.
20. Spaces are limited. If a student is absent for 3 weeks or more consecutively without notice, their place in the class may be offered to another student without refund. To avoid this, please notify the school of absences ahead of time.
21. If a student is not able to attend their usual class and provides notice in advance, a make up lesson may be requested in another class subject to availability . Make up lessons are not guaranteed.
22. Refunds or transfers are only provided if the school cancels a class. Refunds are not offered for student absence.
23. Parent /guardians must provide up to date emergency contact details and notify the school of any relevant medical conditions or learning needs.
24. The school takes all reasonable care for student safety but accepts no liability for accidents, injuries or damages except where required by law.
25. Open Studio Art School reserves the right to suspend, refuse or cancel a students enrollment if these Terms and Conditions are breached , or if behaviour is unsafe, significantly disruptive or otherwise impacts the running of the class.
